ANALYSIS Alcohol 14.5%

AROMA An aromatic wine; showing aromas of cherry fruit, flowering thyme and violets, along with hints of dried mint ands cocoa.

PALATE The palate is medium to full bodied, with good complexity and depth of flavour; showing fresh cherry and blueberry, floral characters, woody herbs and background oak spice. Has an elegant structure, with fine tannins and a lingering full flavoured finish.

VINEYARD Sourced from a single vineyard site planted on heavy loamy soil over limestone. This vineyard is 26 years old and produces a varietal and finely structured Cabernet Sauvignon.

MATURATION The fruit was fermented on skins for ten days before being pressed and transferred to barrel for 18 months maturation. 100% French oak barrels were used for the maturation of this wine, and 20% of these were new.
