Balancing a stylistically-appropriate moderate bitterness is a satisfying mouthfeel and drying finish that sits perfectly at 6.2% abv and 40 IBU.
A manifestation of our affection for IPAs from the US West Coast, Hop Kong is rightly a blockbuster hop feature. A leaner, minimalist grist bill provides a subtle bready baseline that avoids the spotlight whilst a monstrous Simcoe and Talus whirlpool backed up with Simcoe, Talus, LupoMax Citra and Galaxy tank additions make for a hop-saturated pithy citrus, sweet guava and candied orange flavour/aroma combination.
