A great example of a classic Margaret River Cabernet, displaying aromas of black cherry and cassis with a deep mocha influence from the oak. An exquisite parcel of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon underwent gentle maceration on skins prior to extended maturation in a selection of fine French Oak barriques. A firm favourite among the Wise Wine cellar door team.
Deep dark red with brilliant garnet hues. This classic Margaret River Cabernet offers bright blue fruits on the nose, with cassis and a touch of oak spice. The palate is full flavoured with fresh ripe fruits of the forest, black cherries and dark chocolate. The fine grained tannins leave a soft velvety texture in the mouth with a long satisfying finish. This wine is drinking beautifully now, otherwise will develop further with careful cellaring up to 2040.
