Our Near & Far range of wines are produced from vineyards across South Australia, some ‘Near’ to our Welland vineyard in Barossa and some in ‘Far’ away locations. We aim for a style that that will keep everyone at the dinner table happy!
This Shiraz offers good weight without being overly heavy, soft tannins and abundant berry fruit character on both the nose and palate. Minimal use of oak allows the Shiraz fruit character to shine!
Winemaking
Picked, crushed and de-stemmed into a fermenter for seven days, the ferment is pumped over twice daily to maximise colour and flavour extraction from the fruit. Subtle use of both French and American oak prior to bottling.
